Here are some frequently asked questions we get. If you can't find what you're looking for here don't hesitate to get in touch via email or social media and we can answer any questions you have there.
Q: How long do you take to set up and when will you arrive?
A: We take an hour or so to load in to a ground floor venue, set up & sound check, though this is subject to change; it’s important we take time to get the soundcheck done properly so we can give you the best experience live. We usually arrive from 17:30 though each event is different so we will work with you to ensure each event goes smoothly and what timings work best around your day.Please note: if your event is running late we will do everything we can to be as quick as possible but a late event may impact performance times.
Q: Can we have microphones for speeches?
A: Yes, this is an extra PA hire & early set up cost but is something we can provide of course, just drop us an email.
Q: Can you perform at our ceremony or drinks reception?
A: Absolutely, we can offer solo or duo options, please see our packages and get in touch for a quote.
Q: Can you perform outside?
A: Yes, although important to remember we live in the unpredictable uk! Cover is essential to protect equipment from rain and heat as well as the musicians, with adequate power sources. Get in touch to discuss further for your event.
Q:Do you come with your own sound and lighting?
A: Yes, every package includes the relevant sound and lighting. Note that we don’t include ‘venue’ lighting, just what’s suitable to enjoy the band around the dance floor area.
Q: What happens when you aren’t performing? Do you have a Dj?
A: We can play music through our speakers; either one of our playlists or you can send us yours to play too.A Dj can be booked at an extra cost, yes.
Q: What areas do you cover?
A: We are south west based but cover the whole of the UK! We do add fuel charges on as part of every quote, and depending on where the gig is, we may need accommodation as well. We also perform abroad, no destination too far!
Q: How much do you cost?
A: Well, that depends! Every quote includes fuel, parking & tolls but will differ depending on location, how long we are playing for, what extras you’ve booked and finish time etc. Expect prices to start from £1500.00 as a rough guide for the evening band.
Q: Can I choose the songs you play?
A: To an extent, yes; this us somewhat guided by the package that you pick - but also within that we can chat about your favourites, and also songs you don’t like to make the live set hit as hard as possible!
Q: What happens if someone is sick?
A: As per our contract, we reserve the right to change members of the band last minute due to illness & injury, but will always endeavour to replace the musician with a professional of equal standard and ability! The only occasion where we may not be able to do this is an incident of ‘force majeure’.
